2. | How can I change how my team name appears in live scoring? Answer: In the box scores for each matchup the live scoring uses the team abbreviations if set by the owner.
Owners can set their abbreviation on the For Owners > Franchise Setup- Customize.
The system will otherwise set a default abbreviation for each team based on the franchise name.

3. | How can I add the Live Scoring module to my Home Page? Answer: To add the Live Scoring to your home page go to the For Commissioner > Setup Home Page Modules & Tabs Setup screen.
If you don't see a home page module available from the list of modules, that most likely means you've already got that module someplace on your league home page. If you don't see it on the "Main" tab, be sure to look on other tabs on your league home page (such as the "Gameday" tab). Home page modules can only appear one time per league home page.
Once you've found that home page module, you can go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Home Page Modules & Tabs Setup screen. Here, Select the Tab to Edit and you can remove the module from that screen and then save it. Then you will be able to re-add it wherever you'd like to add it to your league home page.
Note that this restriction was added to prevent functionality problems with duplicated home page modules, especially the League Chat module, as well as the various chart home page modules.

4. | Why are my teams not matched up with their opponent on the Live Scoring Pages? Answer: This is due to your league being defined as an 'all-play' league where each franchise plays against every other franchise each week. If you prefer to only have specific matchup(s) for each team each week, go to For Commissioners > Setup > General League Setup to change the "Fantasy Schedule" setting to use 'one-head-to-head matchup per week'.

6. | What is Win Probability and how is it calculated? Answer: The Win Probability feature has been added in an experimental basis to the Live Scoring page in late 2020. It's currently labeled as 'BETA' to indicate that it's still a work in progress. The purpose of it is to show the likelihood of each team in a head to head winning the game. The values range from 0% (almost certain to lose) to 100% (almost certain to win).
The Win Probability is calculated by taking into account a number of factors, including: the player's current performance, the player's projected performance and the state of the game. From this, we simulate each NFL game from their current state to their completion and then calculate the points each player would generate in each such simulation. Then we add the points for all players in each team and whichever team had the most points is given the win in that simulation. The Win Probability is then the percent of simulations each team won.

7. | Why aren't the Live Scoring projected scores matching what the Starting Lineup report (and other pages that use projections) show? Answer: The Live Scoring new Win Probability feature shows also what the projected points for each player will be, updating it actively during the game. Before a game starts, these numbers should come close to matching the player projections elsewhere on the site (the "official" projects, as provided to MyFantasyLeague.com by FantasySharks). However, some discrepancies are likely to occur. The reason for this is that they are calculated differently. The Win Probability projections is the average number of points each player scored in all the simulations. The official projections consider the most likely outcomes only but for a true win probability we must also consider more outlier cases. Generally these outliers should cancel each other, but often they don't. In addition, the official projections take into consideration more scoring categories than the win probability. In particular if your league weights heavily categories not supported by Win Probability, such as the various Length of TDs scoring rules, then the differences may be noticeable.
Another difference to consider is rounding. In general the official projections are calculated without any rounding off. For example, if your league awards 1 point for every 10 yards rushing (with no decimals), that means that someone that gets 78 yards rushing will get 7 points. But for the official projections, we don't do the rounding since that provides more information to the user. However, for the purposes of win probability, we do round off the way your league would to improve the accuracy. These projections may still show a player is projected to score 12.5 points even if your league doesn't do decimal scoring, but that's the average of all individual projections.

8. | How do I turn on Win Probability on my Live Scoring page? Answer: Since the Win Probability feature of Live Scoring is current still in development and testing mode, it is not available by default on any leagues. However, if you would like to help us test this feature you can turn it on for your league via the For Commissioners > Setup > Reports and Security Settings. The option appears on the Report Settings section and is labeled as "Display Win Probability on the Live Scoring Page (BETA)".
In addition, users can turn off the feature on their Live Scoring page via the "Hide Win Probability" setting at the bottom of the screen. However, in order for users to have access to this control, the commissioner must have first turned on the feature league wide via the Reports and Security Settings page.

9. | Why isn't my league showing me the Win Probability on the Live Scoring page or why can't I turn it on? Answer: First you need to turn on the Win Probability league-wide. You can do this via the For Commissioners > Settings > Reports & Security Settings page. However if the option is not shown on that page it is because your league may have some settings in place that are not compatible with the Win Probability process. If your league is any of these, this option will not appear for your league:
- Non-head to head leagues
- Best Ball leagues
- Leagues that Allow Partial Lineups
- Leagues that Hide Starters until the end of the week
Note that this feature is only available on the web site and is not exposed via an API. That means that none of the MFL mobile apps will have it.
In addition, if the Win Probability is turned on for a league but it's not showing up for an individual user, it could be because they have hidden it. They can show it again by unchecking the Hide Win Probability box at the bottom of the Live Scoring page.

10. | Why doesn't live scoring show points for manual player score adjustments?
Answer: Live scoring primarily shows player on-field scores - and only a few other 'score adjustment' rules that your league might have (home field advantage and franchise score adjustments). Once preliminary weekly and final weekly results are issued, all other league pages, including your 'Weekly Results' report, will correctly reflect whatever 'score adjustments' your league might use, and all league standings will reflect these adjusted scores, also.
Note that our PC-based live scoring product, GameDay, does not have this limitation, and will display all adjustment scoring above.

11. | Why is the Live Scoring different than the Final Weekly Results? Answer: Live Scoring is unofficial, so there are occasional errors in the statistics during the games. This is most common with unusual plays such as fumbles or blocked kicks or plays that are challenged and then reversed. The stats are corrected shortly after the game when the final official stats are made available.
Once games are complete for the week you will want to view the Reports > Franchise > Weekly Results for the final scores for the week.

12. | Why are the live scoring pages displaying results that I know are wrong? Answer: Assuming that your league scoring system is set up correctly, this can happen because the Live Scoring is unofficial, so there are occasional errors in the statistics during the games. This is most common with unusual plays such as fumbles or blocked kicks or plays that are challenged and then reversed. In any case, you can definitely rest assured that the stats will be corrected later in the game, or shortly after the game when the final official stats are made available.

13. | What does the "Player Minutes Remaining" mean on the live scoring pages? Answer: That represents the sum total of all NFL player minutes for your starting lineup. In other words, a regulation NFL game is 60 minutes long, and assuming you have 8 starters, this number is will count down from 480 minutes (before the first game of the week) to zero minutes (once the last game of the week is over).
This is merely a convenience to give you a rough idea of how "done" your players are, as compared to your opponent's players.
If an NFL game goes into overtime, the system will still award points for your players in overtime.

14. | Why am I getting the error "You may only embed modules from a site other than MyFantasyLeague.com" when attempting to look at live scoring? Answer: This issue is caused by a setting in newer versions of Chrome and Edge. Try entering this URL into your Chrome or Edge browser:
chrome://flags/#reduced-referrer-granularity
Then disable the "reduced-referrer-granularity" option, and restart the browser after making this change.

15. | I've chosen my own skin (or time zone) for my league appearance - why do I not see it on the live scoring pages? Answer: Live scoring pages are shared across everyone in your league, and therefore, use the skin (and time zone) that's selected by your league commissioner, and not the skin (or time zone) you've selected. All other league pages will use your skin and your time zone.

16. | Our Defense gives points for shutouts and "Points Allowed". The Live Scoring page is showing these fantasy points at the START of every game. Is there a way to delay the calculation until the end of the game? Answer: MyFantasyLeague.com web-based live scoring does not offer this option, however, GameDay does offer this feature, and a lot more. See this page for more details on GameDay.

18. | Why is Live Scoring displaying different matchups than my Playoff Brackets? Answer: This will occur if you have games defined in the Setup > Weekly Schedule Setup for the week. The games defined here will be displayed instead of those on the Playoff Brackets.
To view the games per your brackets instead you will need to go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Weekly Schedule Setup. Here, click on the Go to Week: "XX" link for the week you wish to remove. Click the box to "Delete" the corresponding matchup.
