1. Click on the Create/Edit League Polls link to define a new poll.
   
2. Enter in a Poll Question under the Create a New Poll column.
   
3. Fill in at least one answer to define a new poll (not all poll answers need to be defined).
   
4. Alternately, you can check the box at the bottom of the poll to automatically make all franchise names poll answers.
   
5. Define a time when voting in the poll must end.
   
6. After you have designed your poll you must click the Save Poll button in order to send the poll to the league.
   

Use this screen to define or edit a custom poll for entertainment or league business (such as voting on a trade).

Existing Polls

This section only appears when at least one league poll has been defined.  Use the 'Edit' link to modify a poll and the 'Delete' link to remove a poll.  A franchise owner may edit and delete any poll that he/she has created.  A commissioner can edit and delete all polls.  Editing polls does not erase any previously-defined poll responses.

Create A New Poll

Click on the [Create/Edit League Polls] link to define a new poll.  Simply fill in the poll question and at least one answer to define a new poll.  All ten poll answers do not need to be defined.

Poll Question - Define the poll in this field.

Answer #1-#10 - Specify at least one, but not more than ten answers for the current poll question.

Make All Franchise Names Poll Answers - Check this box to enable this feature.

Allow Voting Until - Select a date and time for the poll to end.

Franchise Owners Can Vote for Multiple Answers per Poll - Check this box to make the current poll 'multiple-choice' in nature.

Poll results are completely hidden until poll expires - Check this box to prevent any poll results from appearing until after the poll has expired.

Poll is public, revealing who voted what way - Check this box to enable viewing of all franchise votes.  This ability is only available for owners after they have voted and only on the Commissioners > League Polls screen (not the League Polls home page module).  Once enabled, owners mouse-over the nonzero value or for individual poll answer votes to see a tool-tip that includes the list of franchises that have voted for the corresponding poll answer.  Alternately, you can click on the non-zero value to view a pop-up window with who voted for that corresponding answer.

Poll is required - owners must vote before submitting lineups - only commissioners see this option, which prevents an owner from submitting a lineup until they have voted in this poll.  The commissioner may designate as many polls as he'd like to be required.

When finished, you MUST click on the Save Poll button in order to apply your changes.
