How do I set the draft order? (or, do you offer a way of randomly setting the draft order for my league?) Answer:To set the Full Draft Order for your league go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Draft Order Setup - All Rounds. Use the "Move Up" and "Move Down" options to arrange the franchises for the initial round of the draft.
Next set the number of Rounds for your draft. The default will be the roster size. You can adjust this value if your league is a keeper league.
You will then need to choose one of the predefined draft order options to complete the remaining rounds for your draft. Please read the options on that page carefully, as some let you set the order of the first round, and others have the site randomly set the first round.
Next, you can choose to adjust the rounds individually in the For Commissioner > Setup > Draft Order Setup - One Round and edit each individual round. Note if you plan to import traded picks from the previous season you need to do this step prior to importing these trades.
Finally, if your league traded draft picks from the previous year you can use the Setup > Import Future Draft Picks to import the traded picks from the prior season into the current draft order.
NOTE Each season you will need to set up your draft order for your league after you upgrade. In order to set the draft order you must save the Setup General Draft Timer Setup parameters.

Why can I not adjust a draft round? Answer:Once you import traded draft picks into your league you cannot uses the Draft Order Setup - One Round as this could alter traded picks without record of the changes.
You will need to perform the following steps to properly set up your draft order and then import your 2021 traded picks from last season into this seasons draft.
To resolve this simply do the following:
Now use the Draft Order Setup - One Round to add or remove any picks as needed to have your draft order properly defined.
Once your draft order is all set, go back to your Import Future Draft Picks
and Re-import your traded draft picks.
NOTE: If trades occurred in the current season when you re-write the draft and re-import these picks those trades will NOT be reflected in the new draft order. You will need to go to the For Owners > Trades to manually trade the picks between the two teams in order to re-apply these to the new draft order.
If your league charges for trades you can delete the accounting record on the For Commissioner > Edit Accounting Records.

How do I allow owners to draft "Picks" for the upcoming Rookie draft when conducting both a Rookie & Vet draft in a league?
Answer:In order to allow owners to draft specific picks for an upcoming draft, say Rookie Pick 1.01, Rookie Pick 1.02, you would need to go to the Setup > Edit Custom Players and enter these Picks as "Players" in order for them to appear in the draft list. That will allow owners during the draft to select the "picks" as their selection (optionally you can use an Auction to "draft" these Draft Picks.)
Once your draft is completed you will follow the instructions in the FAQs on how to archive your draft to set up your Rookie Draft. When setting up the Rookie Draft Order you will manually define the order using the Set Draft Order Setup - One Round to assign the picks to the owner based on their selections in the initial draft.
You can then go to the Enter Custom Players to hide your Rookie picks.
NOTE When setting up the Custom Players you will need to define a Last name for these picks. Additionally, since these are "FA" you will need to make sure if you have these set as FA to enable the option on the Setup > Reports & Security Settings to Display NFL Free Agents on Fantasy Free Agent Lists?
Set up your first draft according to the instructions in the Help > Help Center - Commissioner Tutorials.
Conduct your first draft for your league to completion.
Go to the Setup > Draft Setup > Archive Draft to store this information. Here you will need to define a Name for your draft. Note this is one word (numbers and letters permitted only).
Once archived, you can define the draft order and setup parameters for your second draft. To do this edit the current parameters such as Start Date/Time and the General Timer settings for your second draft.
You can then view your draft results by going to the Reports > League > Draft Report and at the top of the page you will see the name of your archived draft(s). You can click this to view that report.
Only 3 drafts are permitted to be archived per season.
NOTE If your league trades future draft picks, and you import them from the previous season, they will import only into the current draft that is defined.
In the current season, Owners will only be able to trade draft picks for the current draft that is set up. Once the first draft is complete you can archive it, setup the subsequent draft and then begin trading for those picks.
If you imported traded picks into the first draft and archive it, after archiving you will need to "un-import" the picks so you can set up the subsequent draft order.. You can then delete these picks for the current season. It will not alter any previous archived draft that has these picks imported. This option is found at the bottom of the Import Future Draft Picks screen to delete these picks.
If you wish for all draft picks to be traded immediately, or traded picks for multiple drafts in the previous season you will want to set up your entire draft order at one time and simply pause the timer between your drafts.

How do I adjust a Round or add extra picks in the Draft? Answer:To adjust rounds individually go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Draft Order Setup - One Round. Here you can click on the Link for each individual round and use the Move Up/Down arrows to re-arrange your current rounds report or add/remove franchises from that round. Be sure to click the "Set Draft Order" individually after making adjustments.
You can also use this feature to add extra picks to a round for an owner. Select the franchise and click "Add to List". The picks will be added to the end of the round. If there have been no traded draft picks in this round then you can manually adjust the round as needed.
To remove picks from a round you can select the franchise and click "Remove from List". You cannot remove picks from a round that has traded draft picks. If your picks have been imported or trades have occurred and you still need to remove a pick for an owner you would have to use the For Commissioner > Skip Pick option. You can then select the Round/Pick for the franchise you wish to skip to not allow them to draft.
NOTE: You cannot adjust rounds where you have imported traded picks from the previous season into the draft order. Once you have imported picks if you need change picks between teams for a round you can re-create the trade as commissioner using the For Owners > Trades.

How do I Suspend an Email Draft at night? Answer:If you are conducting and Email Draft you have the option to suspend your timer (ie. At night). . Go to the For Commissioner > Setup > General Draft & Timer Setup and set
Use Draft Timer: Yes, but is suspended as indicated below and set the times to suspend between XX:XX ET and XX:XX ET each day.
NOTE: During this time an owner can make a pick that is on the clock, but the timer will not resume for the next owner until the suspension time is over.
This function will not work however for Live Drafts
Simply go to the General Draft And Timer Setup page, and select the option under the "Available Player Pool For This Draft". Then owners will only be able to draft rookies or vets for your entire draft.
If you choose to have a Rookie Only Draft you will need to ensure the following:
If prior to the NFL Draft you have enabled the option "Display NFL FA on Free Agent Lists" on the Setup Reports & Other Settings as these players are not yet draft and on NFL Teams.
On the For Commissioners > Setup > Waivers/Free Agents Setup "Prevent Rookie Players from being acquired via Waivers" is set to Yes. This feature when enabled will also hide the rookies in the draft room. You will need to turn it off for your draft. Note that waivers will not run when a draft is in process.
At any time during the draft you can go to the Setup > General Draft & Timer Setup, or in the Live Draft Room under Commissioner Controls choose the “Change Draft Timer”, and adjust the time for each pick. Note, if adjusting the timer during a live draft you may wish to Pause the Draft Timer when making this change.
NOTE: You cannot have draft pick imported prior to this step. You will need to first define the draft order and then can import traded picks.

How do I Add the Draft Countdown Timer to the Home Page? Answer:To add the Draft Timer to the Home Page go to the For Commissioner > Setup > Home Page Setup (or from the home page click the "Customize this Page" link). Here you can add the "Countdown to League Draft" to your home page modules.
If you are a Deluxe League then you will need to add the "Countdown to League Draft for... " for each Division or Conference that will have a draft.
These options are only available if your league has defined a MyFantasyLeague.com online draft in General League Setup. In order to set up the draft order or import traded picks in your draft you must first save the settings on this page to apply your draft type and timer each season.
Draft Type: select the type of draft your league wishes to run. Base on this setting some of the options on the setup page may change.
Email Draft: On-line, long-running draft, taking several days/weeks to complete.
Live Draft: On-line, live draft that takes a couple of hours to complete.
Use Draft Timer:
Yes, draft timer is always on
Yes, but is suspended as indicated below (only for email drafts)
Hint: Once the Draft Start Time has been reached, turning this item on will turn on your timer once the 1st pick of your draft has occurred. Turning it off will postpone your draft clock, but still allow for manual drafting. Also, note that you must turn the draft timer on to allow a predrafted pick 1.01 to be made for an owner when the draft starts. In other words, if the draft timer is off, the system will not automatically make a predrafted pick 1.01 for an owner.
Suspend Draft Timer Each Day at: Set the time when you wish for the timer to be suspended each night in an email draft.
Resume Draft Timer Each Day at: Set the time of day when you wish for the timer to resume running in an email draft
NOTE: Since suspending a draft timer overnight applies to longer-running email drafts, and not live drafts (which are expected to complete within a few hours), enabling the "suspend" timer option will hide the timer display in the live draft room.
Set Timer To: xx hours and yy minutes - Define the minimum amount of time for each pick to be made.
NOTE:The time selected above is the minimum amount of time that the system will wait before expiring. For example, if you select 12 hours, the system will wait at least 12 hours, but no more than 12 hours and 15 minutes, before expiring. The system will check the status of the draft every 15 minutes, at 15 minutes after the hour, half-past the hour, and 45 minutes after the hour, to see if the timer has expired. When in "Live Draft" mode, the system will check each time a draft update is attempted.
When the Draft Timer Expires: The system will always first attempt to pick a player for the owner according to the owner's "Work List" in the Live Draft Room, and then the owner's "My Draft List."
Skip the pick. The league commissioner may then use the For Commissioners > Setup > Draft Setup > Change Draft Pick option to pick the appropriate player to compensate for the skipped pick, if league rules permit it.
Pick a player according to rankings generated by Fantasy Sharks experts. For current rankings check Links > Fantasy Links > Player Rankings on the main menu.
Pick the highest ranked eligible player according to the Average Draft Position rankings among similar leagues as shown on the ADP page.
NOTE:The "My Draft List" player listing can be used for an owner's pick before the "ADP Ranking" player listing, allowing an owner who either has had a pick timeout, or, an owner who cannot be present for a draft, to create their own personalized draft list to have the system select from. Owners using the "My Draft Preferences" in addition to the list can specify positions for each round of the draft.
When a franchise times out this number of consecutive times, automatically pick for them as soon as they get on the clock: Use this feature to place a team on Auto-draft should they have more than one time-outs to speed up your draft. Default Unlimited.
Automatically pick for these franchises as soon as they get on the clock: By default the system will wait until the timer expires before using the highest ranked My Draft List player, Player Rank or ADP (as selected above) to make it's selection. If there are one or more owners that will not be present during your draft and you'd like to have the system auto-pick for them as soon as they get on the clock, check the appropriate box for each franchise.
NOTE:The "My Draft List" player listing will be used before the Ranking or ADP during a draft, allowing an owner who either has had a pick timeout, or, an owner who cannot be present for a draft, to create their own personalized draft list to have the system select from.
Voice To Use For Audio Clips In Live Draft: - Choose one of the "voices" we offer for announcing names as the players are picked in your live draft, or select "None" if you'd rather not hear these names announced. This option is only displayed if you've selected the "Live Draft" option on the General League Setup page.
Force an owner to confirm his pick in the live draft room via a pop-up window before making it? Choose this option to require a pop-up to appear when the owner presses Draft in a Live Draft Room to confirm the player they selected is the one they wish to draft.
Available Player Pool For This Draft - If your league's draft is a rookie-only draft or vet-only, turn these options on to prevent owners from drafting non-rookies or non-vets in your draft.
Both NFL Veteran Players & Rookies
Only NFL Rookies
Only NFL Veterans
Should Owners Be Forced To Have A Full Roster At The End Of The Draft: Enable this option to require owners to fulfill the roster minimums or starting lineup minimums during a draft.
If this is selected, you will not be able to draft players that would prevent from having a valid roster at the end of the draft. For example, if you are required to start a PK and had not drafted one then by your last pick you would have to draft a PK in order to fill your lineup requirements.
When finished, you MUST click on the Save Draft Timer Information button to apply your changes. This page has to be saved each season in order to apply the draft type and timer to your league, regardless of changes made on this page.
This screen is only available if your league has defined an online draft in General League Setup
. It is, in fact, just a pointer to the Setup > League Calendar Setup
screen.
NOTE: This start date/time merely allows your draft to begin. That is, you cannot draft players BEFORE this time has elapsed.
For deluxe leagues, you can define one draft start time per division or conference as needed.
For leagues that conduct their online draft using MyFantasyLeague.com, and owners that rely on the system to pick a roster (via either the My Draft List player list, or the ADP player list), this option will allow owners to define what positions are picked in each round of your draft. This will give owners a lot more control, preventing the system from selecting too many backup players in any one position.
Draft Rounds - A list of current rounds in the draft. This requires that the draft order be defined.
Position Requested - Specify "Any" (the default) or an individual position. This will force the system to use the highest rated available player at this position, regardless of other, higher rated players at other positions.
When finished, you MUST click on the Save My Draft Preferences button in order to apply your changes.
These options are only available if your league has defined an online draft in General League Setup.
Go To Draft Round xx Links - Click on the link corresponding the round in the draft that you would like to edit. Use the Draft Order Setup - All Rounds
screen to increase the number of rounds in your draft.
Available Franchises - This window contains a list of all your franchises available to participate in the draft.
Current Round xx Draft Order - For the currently selected round (ie, xx), this is the order of the picks for that round.
NOTE: There's no limit on the number of picks per round so you are able to allow the same team to select multiple draft picks in the same round.
NOTE: Once the traded picks are imported into the draft order you cannot adjust the draft order using this feature for any round with a traded picks.
When finished, you MUST click on the Save Round xx Draft Order button to apply your changes.
NOTE: Deluxe leagues will separate the draft by division or conference based on the General League Setup 'Each player can be on xx rosters per...' setting.
Round 1 Draft Order - Using the pull-down boxes, define the order for the first round of your draft.
Draft Rounds - Specify the number of rounds for your draft. This number will default to the number of players on your roster as defined in General League Setup.
Draft Type - Complete your draft order by selecting one of the following options:
S-draft. Also known as a serpentine draft, an S-draft uses the round 1 (as defined above) order and copies it to all subsequent odd-numbered rounds. It then reverse this order and copies this reversed order to all even-numbered rounds.
Random S-draft. The first round of the draft is randomly selected, and each successive round of the draft is the opposite order of the prior round (an S-draft).
Random. Choose this option if you want your entire draft order to be random. This selection will override the above Round 1 Draft Order settings.
Random/Reverse. In this selection all odd rounds of the draft are randomly picked, all even rounds are the opposite of the previous round.
Round 1 Copy. This last choice copies the defined Round 1 Draft Order settings to all subsequent rounds in your draft.
3rd round reversal serpentine. The first round of the draft is used from the pre-defined order above, and then subsequent rounds are set up like this: Round 2 - reverse of round 1. Round 3 - same as round 2. Round 4 - reverse of round 3. Round 5 and beyond - reverse of the previous round. In other words, starting with round 3, all rounds of the draft are reversed from a standard serpentine draft.
Random 3rd round reversal serpentine. The same as above, except the first round of the draft is randomly selected by the system.
Send Email To Owners Regarding How Draft Order Was Generated? - This option defaults to "No", but if the "Yes" option is selected, owners will get email notification of the draft order being generated, and if one of thee "random" options was selected above, the email will include a note about the draft order being randomly generated by the system, ensuring no commissioner bias when generating the draft order.
When finished, you MUST click on the Set Draft Order button to apply your changes.
