(thehuddle) Los Angeles Chargers QB Tyrod Taylor could earn the starting spot for the 2020 season, according to head coach Anthony Lynn Thursday, Feb. 13. 'Tyrod Taylor is a heck of a quarterback,' Lynn told AM 570 LA Sports. 'We couldn't have a better backup right now, and now he has an opportunity to maybe step up into a starting role. I've had Tyrod before (in Buffalo), and I know what this young man brings to the table, in the passing game and the running game.'

Analysis: Lynn credited Taylor's ability to take care of the football as a strong point in his game. Taylor will turn 31 years old ahead of the 2020 season and has 54 career touchdown passes against 20 interceptions through 46 starts and 70 total appearances. He rushed for at least 427 yards in each of his three seasons as a starter for the Buffalo Bills and can certainly be a reliable QB1 in fantasy due to his safe floor of production as a result of his contributions on the ground.
