(Rotoworld) Cardinals GM Steve Keim said he's "very optimistic" about re-signing free agent LT D.J. Humphries.

Analysis: Humphries had a rebound 2019, staying healthy for all 16 games and grading out positively at PFF. The Cardinals view him as a building block and don't want to let him walk as a 26-year-old free agent. Signing Humphries long term comes with risks given his extensive injury history. He's likely to command at least the $13.8 million AAV Donovan Smith got from the Bucs last offseason.
